2 (1 of 1)Kim is a managing partner and founder at Idea Garden Marketing, a full service traditional and digital marketing company serving the produce industry. With 13 years of experience, she leads the traditional side of the business focusing on multi-channel strategy and planning, branding, and everything in between.


Prior to founding Idea Garden Marketing, Kim was the Vice President of Produce for Kids, a marketing fundraising organization that educates about healthy eating while raising funds for children’s non-profit organizations. Kim was Produce for Kids’ first full time employee, increasing donations 397% and growing the team to five employees by the time she left in 2012. Her career started at Universal Orlando Resort managing joint marketing programs and licensing. Kim’s passion for marketing and the produce industry lead her to take an entrepreneurial leap to start Idea Garden Marketing, bringing specialized skills in strategy, brand awareness, project management, and relationship development to the industry.


Originally from Philadelphia, Kim went to school at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. When offered an internship in Universal Orlando Resort’s Brand Marketing department, Orlando, FL was the next stop for 9 years and an exciting start to a career in marketing. After working in the produce industry, Kim discovered her personal passion for health and wellness and acquired her certificate as a holistic health counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2012.


Kim and her husband, John, who is the other managing partner of Idea Garden Marketing, have happily lived in Memphis, TN for the past 3 years. Together they have two kids – both with four legs and tails – Zoe and Molly. In her spare time, you can find Kim walking the dogs, volunteering, keeping up with health and marketing trends, and trying to convince John to get another dog whenever she can!
